Atwater Colors

How many of you still remember opening a new box of Crayola Crayons, inhaling that unique aroma, and then being awed by the rows of beautiful colors peeking up at you? This is the first memory I have of wanting to create something with color.

That fascination hasn’t changed, just the stimulas and the medium. The color of nature constantly changing with the flow of light, the changing of the seasons, flowers back lit by the sun, subtle changes in value from sunlight to shadow, are a few of the stimuli that inspire me to transpose nature to paper. When observing my surroundings no matter where I am, it can be frustrating at times to realize all the possibilities of subjects to paint, but so little time.

Limited Edition Gicleé Prints

My prints are produced by the process called Giclée printing. Images are generated from high resolution digital scans and printed onto fine art paper, canvas and photo paper. This process provides better color and detail accuracy than other printing methods, providing archival museum quality reproductions.

All prints are numbered limited editions of 30. Certificates of Authenticity are provided.
